Esmeralda Villeda for North Las Vegas City Council, Ward 1

I’m Esmeralda Villeda, a proud first-generation American born and raised right here in North Las Vegas. I’m the daughter of immigrants. My dad is a stucco worker and my mom was an electrician. They taught me to prioritize family, do meaningful work, and show up to serve our community.

From delivering phone books door-to-door at age 12 to helping over 100 families become homeowners, I’ve spent my life rolling up my sleeves for North Las Vegas. I’m a real estate professional, a current Planning Commissioner, a nonprofit advocate, and a proud graduate of Rancho High School and CSN. Over the years I’ve worked with youth, local law firms, and yes, even dressed up as Wonder Woman at city events. Everything I do is about making North Las Vegas stronger, brighter, and better for all of us.

I’m running for City Council because I believe Ward 1 deserves a strong voice at the table. My campaign is focused on three priorities: public safety that responds to our community, affordability for working families, and intentional and smart growth that protects the neighborhoods we call home.

I’m your neighbor, a homeowner, a dog mom, and someone who knows firsthand the needs of our community because I experience them too. My campaign is about lifting up the people and places that make North Las Vegas who we are and what we will become.

I’ll keep listening. I’ll keep understanding. And I’ll keep doing the work, just like I always have.

Reach out anytime on my personal cell at 725-352-9873. I look forward to connecting with you during this campaign.
